PURPOSE:

This position is responsible to leading a world class customer service focused operation and delivering overall business results while driving process of continuous improvement for assigned operational area(s) through the entire supply chain (from order, procurement to delivery). Will engage directly with customer interfacing/interaction and establishing strong connections and relationships to foster a highly impactful and exceptional customer experience. Will lead a diverse team and drive a work culture that is supportive and inclusive for all our employees. May be responsible for multiple business functions and/or complex/changing value streams.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead day-to-day operations of a high-end custom product business unit including responsibility of key functional areas (Finance, Manufacturing Operations, Safety, AMS, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service and Distribution).
  • Deliver agreed results in the areas of safety, quality, customer service, cost and employee engagement /development for all areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and implement plans to provide process improvement in key areas defined above. Value stream improvement initiatives will be aligned with Lean Manufacturing principles and the manufacturing strategic plan and corporate initiatives.
  • Mentor developing employees by providing coaching, information, ideas, feedback, and encouragement to employees and managers to promote growth and development.

  • Develop a strategy and ensures alignment of activities/metrics and resources within the business unit and functional areas. Ensure cross-organization collaboration and employee involvement where appropriate.

  • Support new process and product development and implementation to ensure the business is meeting customer expectations.
  • Promote active/servant leadership to solve problems and promote high involvement approaches to problem solving.
  • Visit with customers through plant visits to build customer confidence and create an environment for sustained growth in the Super Luxury Market.
  • Other duties as assigned.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS:


Provide direct or indirect leadership and direction to Value Stream Manager(s), Value Stream Supervisors, Team Leads, Line Trainers, Safety, Quality, AMS, Supply Chain, EHS, Maintenance, Finance and CERT.

Need to be highly effective in a matrixed organization to ensure alignment and collaboration across all business functions.


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Fluent in Spanish and English - verbal; Fluent in English - written
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project
  • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making
  • Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring skills
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

SALARY INFORMATION:  

This position includes a salary range of $139,780 - $223,660.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. In addition to your pay, Andersen Corporation currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, a robust employee Wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
