YST is a rotational program for high school students within Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, etc.

Primary Responsibilities

· Adhere to all safety rules and policies.

· Visually inspect lineals for conformity to specifications.

· Interpret smart scope, promex, and bow machine results for dimensional conformity.

· Use all Quality appearance station forms and gauges to adhere to Quality Standards.

· Follow daily standard work.

· Stack profiles according to standard work.

· Properly wrap loads.

· Order raw materials.

· Adhere to line schedule.

· Complete production paperwork.

· Support respectful workplace.

· Participate in appropriate training and development programs

· Other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management.

Qualification and Skills

· Extrusion Machine operation experience not required.

· Manufacturing, equipment maintenance, Lean operations experience helpful

· Basic computer skills – keyboarding, Windows helpful.

· Willingness to be trained and learn extrusion.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods.

· Comply with Respectful Workplace policies and guidelines

· Dependability/punctuality.

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
