ANDERSEN CORPORATION SUMMARY:
- Lead and perform complex financial and operational analysis in collaboration with the black belt and FP&A teams
- Makes recommendations to leadership regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies. Provides a high level of understanding of risks and opportunities to improve financial performance and/or reduce cost and complexity to drive success.
- Performs complex reporting, analyzes, and interprets financial and operating data for division management to include but not limited to monthly variance analysis and explanation, financial analysis, business analysis, profitability and cost analysis projects for the assigned business segment. Evaluates operations to assist operational management decision making, while providing insights into performance.
- Leverage knowledge and decisions across the company by proactively partnering with the management team to share information and key learning’s as appropriate.
- Prepare flexible financial modeling analysis and work closely with the finance organization and business groups to ensure the appropriate financial assumptions and due diligence activities are incorporated in the model and included in the process.
- Provide coaching and direction to less experienced analysts and lean and coordinate business unit reporting/planning with finance and cross functional team members
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting or other related area; CPA or CMA preferred, 10+ years related experience.
- Demonstration of advanced finance & business concepts, and ability to clearly communicate those concepts to business partners and management.
- Advanced communication skills, and demonstrated capacity to influence and communicate with business partners at all levels in the organization, including executives. Ability to demonstrate professional skepticism.
- Ability to analyze complex processes and to lead workgroups to help resolve problem areas.
