We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Associates to join our growing team at our Garland Assembly Plant. No experience is necessary - Andersen will train new employees on our manufacturing best practices.

Pay rate: $16.55 - $19.45/hr + 6% shift differential on 2nd shift and 9% on 3rd shift

We offer full time and temporary opportunities dependent upon business needs and experience for a variety of shifts: 2nd shift 3 PM – 11 PM, 3rd shift 11 PM - 7 AM.

Responsibilities

Responsible for fabrication, assembly and managing the flow of material throughout the plant. Duties include but are not limited to:
Following all required safety practices and company standards
Operating manufacturing equipment and hand tools
Producing high quality work that conforms to standards
Able to work in a team environment
Participating in on-the job training initiatives and seeking out growth opportunities
Maintaining good attendance and punctuality
Supporting a respectful workplace

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing operation is a plus
Ability to work a flexible schedule including some overtime and weekends
Desire to learn new skills and cross-train in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for duration of shift
Possess problem-solving, communication, teamwork, leadership and basic computer skills
Ability to read and understand reports
