Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Cottage Grove, MN location.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to lead and manage the Maintenance team supporting our Central Stores at the Renewal by Andersen location in Cottage Grove, MN. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing an annual strategy focused on operational excellence, increasing uptime, and providing world-class support.
This position ensures that the assigned maintenance team is operating in accordance with Andersen’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide effective supervision, training, and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment uptime, equipment repairs, and production goals
• Responsible for maintaining and improving the MRO inventory management systems and processes to maintain sufficient and accurate spare parts inventory levels
• Provide managers with the necessary reports and metric measurements
• Deploy a strategy that builds, retains, and engages all employees through inclusion and teamwork, and provides a safe and special place to work
• Ensure our teams and working partners adhere to corporate processes
• Identify, recruit, and onboard maintenance talent as needed
• Actively manage, implement, monitor and/or contribute toward programs intended to increase the uptime of assets. Such programs include, but are not limited to, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and total productive maintenance
• Establish, justify, monitor, analyze, and manage maintenance budgets
• Develop/institute maintenance best practices with clearly defined metrics that have the result of driving operational performance
• Identify, develop, and implement training programs to advance the skills of MRO Buyers and Clerks to meet business needs
• Work with Indirect Procurement to source necessary parts and assemblies in a cost-effective and timely manner
• Be a trusted partner that provides world-class service to Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations
• Works with other plant Central Stores Supervisors to coordinate shared inventory
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• 4-year degree in engineering, technology, management, or equivalent experience
• Experience with world-class manufacturing practices (TPM, 5S, Lean, etc.)
• Strong coaching and people development skills
• Strong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups
• Able to develop and maintain a respectful and safe work environment

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
