ANDERSEN CORPORATION SUMMARY:
This role supports Enterprise Material cost (Standard Cost of Goods Sold (SCOGS) and Purchase Price Variances (PPVs)) and the Strategic Sourcing, Sustainability, and Environmental & Safety business units. This role is responsible for driving deeper financial analysis and business insight across the Enterprise. This position requires extensive business knowledge, basic accounting knowledge, proven financial and analytical skills, and makes recommendations of impact or consequence requiring application and interpretation of data, facts, procedures, policy, and law. Strong communication and influencing skills will be necessary due to the frequent interaction with senior leaders from other areas of the business.

- Variance commentary
Management Reporting
- Period reporting packages
- Ad hoc investigation and analysis
- Material cost projects / business cases
- Financial & commodity research projects
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Target setting
- Process management
- Compilation of inputs from a variety of sources
- Evaluation of results and review with business partners
Direction of Others
- Provide coaching and direction to less experienced analysts.
- Lead and coordinate business unit reporting/planning with finance & cross-functional team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting or other related area; CPA or CMA preferred, 10+ years related experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Demonstration of advanced finance & business concepts, and ability to clearly communicate those concepts to business partners and management.
- Advanced communication skills, and ability to develop and deliver full presentations in an influential manner.
- Demonstrated capacity to influence and communicate with business partners at all levels in the organization, including executives. Ability to demonstrate professional skepticism.
- Ability to analyze complex processes and to lead workgroups to help resolve problem areas.
- Perform complex financial modeling with logical and technically sound problem-solving skills.
