ANDERSEN CORPORATION SUMMARY:
Work with leaders, managers, and employees to provide advice and coach both parties on all employee relations issues. Provide strong partnership on performance management, disciplinary processes, restructuring activity, legal issues, investigations, conflict management, etc. Your work involves assessing and resolving complex employee relations matters ensuring consistency across client groups and alignment with Andersen practices. You will help to ensure a fair and consistent approach to Andersen's policies and procedures promoting a positive culture within the business, while minimizing risks. Leverage processes, technology, and data to complement and/or lead special place to work initiatives. This position may perform research, analytics, and lead smaller projects focusing on employee relations.
- Manage employee complaints and issues involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.
- Partner and assist your assigned locations and businesses with employee relations services as requested or as need arises on urgency or as workflow dictates.
- Confer with HRBPs and provide guidance and/or consultation making sure they have access to correct policies/procedures and are using the tools and resources available.
- Work with legal resources and consultants to ensure employee relations activities adhere to company policy and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Help prepare audits, reporting and compliance reviews pertaining to local regulations and programs.
- Contribute to or lead internal projects
- Manage employee concerns escalated from Andersen’s Ethics and Compliance Hotline.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Evidence of exceptional interpersonal skills and with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity and remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and in a remote work environment while working both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Minimum of six years’ experience in conducting investigations with emphasis on employee relations
- Previous labor relations and manufacturing exposure
