Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Maintenance Planner I/II at our Cottage Grove, MN location.

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to improve equipment uptime by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through the detailed planning and coordination of labor, parts, material, and equipment availability. The ideal candidate for this position is well-organized and has a passion for maintenance planning.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The position balances priorities, resources, material, and equipment availability to develop department and individual work schedules
• Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize maintenance work and ensuring deadlines are met
• Work cross-functionally to ensure work orders are executed properly and equipment is production ready
• Generate reports on KPIs related to preventative maintenance activities and planned work
• Audit the execution and accuracy of planned work
• Generate detailed daily and shutdown maintenance plans for assigned maintenance team
• Participates in the training of technicians
• Assist engineering in the creation of predictive maintenance tools and systems
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to plan activities for scheduled shutdowns
• Independent communication with business partners to resolve technical issues and negotiate items such as priorities and completion deadlines
• For each asset, analyze total cost of ownership – parts, labor, and equipment availability
• Evaluate work orders to determine the necessary parts, tools, and time required to successfully execute the work request
• Train employees on how to use the CMMS
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• 4-year degree in engineering, technology, management, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical capacity
• Experience with world-class manufacturing practices (TPM, 5S, Lean, etc.)
• Well-developed project management skills

In 2023, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
